proxies

“So we'd truly like to thank you from the bottom of our heartless hearts. Your loyal sacrifice makes possible our corrupt luxury; your work makes our system work. Thanks so much for ‘knowing your place’ — without even knowing it!” —Author Unknown

When we were slaves in denial, we may have disliked the persons who worked in positions of authority and how they behaved toward ourselves and others. Yet, we rationalized that the engineers, scientists, physicians, teachers, librarians, lawyers, clergy persons, journalists, artists, musicians, managers, bureaucrats, “protective service” workers, etc. were acting with our best interests at heart. Then as our metanoia subsided, we saw how these professionals were not merely “forced” by the “system” to be hurtful, but they were proxies who acted on behalf of the ideologies of the slave masters. And some of us realized that we were their proxies, too; in spite of our best intentions, we were creating more suffering for others because we followed the biddings of the masters. As Pogo said, “We have met the enemy and he is us.”

As we learned more about the matrix of control, we saw how the higher level proxies like bankers, corporate officers, entertainers, intelligence agents, investors, journalists, judges, military officers and politicians were enslaved, too. Because they receive many more perks to compensate for their more extensive entanglements in the matrix, their chances of obtaining self-ownership are exceptionally small. But whether or not you have been one of the proxies for the slave masters, we in Slaves Anonymous want to help emancipate you. When you have suffered enough, please join us!

“This is a world of compensations; and he who would be no slave, must consent to have no slave. Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, can not long retain it.” —Abraham Lincoln
